Sherri Kleinman, Board of Trustees; Board Chair
Sherri is the co-owner of Commodity Resource Corp., a futures and options advisory firm. She has served as a Board member at Pet Network and is also an active participant in Chocolate, Wine & Roses Festival, which provides significant annual funding for Project MANA. Like many supporters of Project MANA, Sherri is passionate about Making Adequate Nutrition Accessible to those in need. She also fully embraces the Tahoe lifestyle and can often be found hiking with her Airedales.

Hal Paris, Board of Trustees; Treasurer
Hal has served the Incline Village/Crystal Bay community since late 2004 as Parks & Recreation Director for Incline Village General Improvement District. With more than 30 years professional experience as staff and as a leader in several community and government organizations, he holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Parks & Recreation Administration from California State University in Sacramento and post graduate work in Education at UC Davis, along with several state and national certifications. The Paris family is active and committed volunteers in the community. Previous to his involvement with Project MANA, Hal volunteered with community food programs in both Folsom and Elk Grove, California. Hal personally enjoys reading, hiking and water activities in and on Lake Tahoe and is passionate about the mission of Project MANA.
Cassell von Baeyer, Board of Trustees
Cassell joined the Project MANA Board in 2012 and is an Attorney with Incline Law Group, LLP. Cassell has been active in the non-profit world as she served as a Board member for Tahoe Women's Services (currently known as Tahoe SAFE Alliance). Cassell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Juris Doctor degree from Hastings College of the Law at the University of California. Her legal practice areas include real estate transactions, business entities and transactions, and contracts. Cassell brings her legal expertise to Project MANA and she is passionate about their mission.
Jan Hardie, Board of Trustees
Jan grew up in Marysville, California, and has been a resident of Incline Village for 11 years. She was a graduate from UC Davis and has an elementary teaching credential from Chico State University. While raising their three children in Sacramento, she served on the parent boards of their schools. She has also served on the Crocker Art Museum Board and The Sacramento Children’s Home Guild Board. The last eight years she has served on the Pet Network Humane Society Board. She is also a member of Incline Village’s AAUW branch and a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi.
Barbara Kay, Board of Trustees
Barbara has been involved with Project MANA for the past three years as a volunteer to a disabled community member, helping with food distribution, and holding dinners to thank supporters. Previously, while living in the Bay Area, she served on three non-profit boards serving in many areas including fundraising as well as starting a food bank. Barbara loves traveling, hiking, cooking and reading and finds Project MANA's vision and mission very meaningful.
Sharon Sperry, Board of Trustees
Sharon is founder and owner of AlpenglowHR, HR Director for Noble Studios in Reno, and a volunteer adult learning facilitator for the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada. She has a BS in Organizational Psychology and 20 years of experience in HR recruiting, consulting, training and talent management at world-class organizations like Microsoft, PeopleSoft, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Sharon’s purpose is to elevate the Nature of Work, igniting meaning and fulfillment for people and organizations, and she's a food and nutrition enthusiast. Sharon and her husband and dog have lived in Incline Village since 2004, and can often be found enjoying the local trails.
