Community House

Building a Long-Term Community Wellness

Community House will be a welcoming place in the heart of Kings Beach, offering integrated services for a wide-range of needs. Services will include professional counseling, informal support groups, enrichment classes, and much, much more. The goal of Community House is to move families away from crisis and toward long-term self-reliance and resilience.

A Winning Partnership

The Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation is leading the Campaign for Community House in partnership with S.H. Cowell Foundation, Placer County and the three anchor agencies housed at Community House.

Tahoe SAFE Alliance – Working to reduce the incidence and trauma of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee.

North Tahoe Family Resource Center – North Tahoe’s central link between individuals and families, and the services and programs available to them.

Project MANA - Project MANA (Making Adequate Nutrition Accessible) is the hunger relief organization serving the North and West Shores of Lake Tahoe and Truckee.

In addition, Community House will partner and work with other nonprofit agencies whose missions and services will amplify the impact to those that Community House serves.
