Emergency Food Distribution

  • Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week, no minimum commitment
  • Vehicle: Not required, must have transportation to distribution site

Weekly food distributions:

  • Truckee: Tuesdays 12:15-1:00 at the Recreation Center on Church St.
  • Kings Beach: Wednesdays 12:00-1:00 at the Family Resource Center at 8321 Steelhead Ave.
  • Incline Village: Thursdays 3:00-4:00 at the D.W. Reynolds Nonprofit Center at 948 Incline Way.

Position Description

Packers/Distributors: Volunteers help pack bags and distribute food at distribution site. Volunteers can arrive 30 minutes before the start of distribution and stay throughout the distribution or arrive at distribution time and assist in reorganizing the distribution site at the end of distribution. May require some heavy lifting.
