Food Express
Volunteers rescue perishable food on a daily basis from supermarkets, farmer’s markets, and bakeries for our weekly distributions.
- Time commitment: 1-2 hours a week, primarily Wednesday and Thursday
- Vehicle: Required, vehicle with ample storage space recommended
Position Description
- Pick up food from Safeway, New Moon, Raleys, and participating stores
- Weigh and record rescued food at Incline office
- May require some heavy lifting
