Project MANA thanks cooking queens

20 Jul 2007 - 10:33am

North Lake Tahoe Bonanza: Project MANA's Board of Directors and staff would like to express our deepest appreciation and thanks to the "Cooking Queens" of Incline Village.

On June 23, Mary Jurkonis and Cynthia McClelland dazzled us with their cooking skills and knowledge of the culinary arts. Once again they turned the kitchen of the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-profit Center into a classroom, entertaining the participants with their vast array of talent.

They are always well prepared and professional with just the right touch of wit and sense of humor. Last but not least we get to eat the results of their labor along with margarita's prepared by Don Epstein. Watch for the date and time of their next class as we move forward in our goal of teaching participants how to eat good, healthy and nutritious meals on a budget.

Thanks again, Mary and Cynthia for your support and dedication. It is greatly appreciated.
