Project MANA - A Hunger Relief Agency

The Tahoe Cooking Queens have been serving up cooking classes in Incline Village for the last several years and now they are taking their spatulas on the road to Truckee. On Nov. 18, The Queens, Cynthia McClelland and Mary Jurkonis, will be in at the Cedar House Sport Hotel. This very fun (and informative!) event is being organized by Mark Estee of Moody's to benefit Project MANA and the Truckee Chapter of Los Medicos Voladores (the flying doctors). The evening will include “appeteaser” demonstrations and tastings just in time for the Holiday Season. The Queens will present new recipes along with preparation tips and the evening supports two local nonprofits. “Darn Good Eats” is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Cedar House Sport Hotel at 10918 Brockway Road, Truckee and is $45 per person or $75 for a couple.
