A "meals on wheels" type program, Fresh Alternatives Create Empowerment provides nutrition assistance to homebound clients who cannot physically attend distribution. Volunteers are responsible for delivering grocery bags and at times shopping for clients. Companionship and connections to other social services are also provided.
- Time Commitment: 2 hours per week, year-round opportunity, with a 3 month minimum commitment

Position Description
There are three main parts of FACE, which can be completed by one volunteer or several.
- Shopper: Volunteer will shop for FACE clients’ special dietary or supplemental groceries.
- Packer: Volunteer packs Face clients’ bags with produce and canned goods per list and dietary needs.
- Delivery: Volunteer delivers grocery bag to FACE client and provides them with other services if necessary, and if desired.
