What We Do
Now in our 21st year, Project MANA is a regional food pantry serving the needy, the ill, the elderly and children. Project MANA's service area spans 3 counties in Nevada and California.
We provide weekly emergency food distributions, emergency food bags, and homebound food deliveries.
We rescue and divert food that would otherwise be thrown away to people in need, and accept donations of perishable and non-perishable foods.
Project MANA provides nutrition education to children and teens in Pre-K through 12th grade in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee public and private schools.
Project MANA tends a community garden in Kings Beach, CA.
Project MANA helps Nevada and California residents in need apply for SNAP and CalFresh Benefits.
