What We Do

Now in our 21st year, Project MANA is a regional food pantry serving the needy, the ill, the elderly and children. Project MANA's service area spans 3 counties in Nevada and California.


Project MANA's gardens are in Incline Village, Kings Beach and Truckee.




We provide weekly emergency food distributions, emergency food bags, and homebound food deliveries.




We rescue and divert food that would otherwise be thrown away to people in need, and accept donations of perishable and non-perishable foods.




Project MANA helps Nevada and California residents in need apply for Food Stamp Benefits.




Project MANA provides nutrition education to children and teens in Pre-K through 12th grade in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee public and private schools.




Each year, on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, Project MANA helps hundreds of local families have a happy, healthy Thanksgiving through the Let's Talk Turkey Food Distribution.




Stone Soup is a weekly soup night in Truckee, CA where everyone is invited to come celebrate food, live music and community.
