It seems appropriate that National Volunteer Week occurs in April - because just like April showers that bring May flowers, volunteers help organizations like Project MANA blossom.
Project MANA's volunteer & FACE (Food and Companionship Exchange) coordinator, Andrea, celebrated our volunteers, who like the US Postal Service brave snow, rain, wind, sun and cold, to support our 4x weekly mobile distributions, provide other emergency hunger relief services, help in our warehouse to prepare for food distribution and so much more! Project MANA literally could not feed our community members without our volunteers. THANK YOU!
Andrea gave each volunteer a package of wildflower seeds with words of gratitude, With each seed package, Andrea asked each volunteer why they volunteer for Project MANA. Some of their responses really made us smile and we hope they make you smile too.
